The elbow in place of the diverter valve is a factory fix, don't worry about it . Your A/C problem is another issue ,I bet your orifice tube is broken and/or clogged. With a Tech 2 scan tool you can look at the high and low side pressures in the system ( in kpa's) and you can...

Thanks Niel, I may have triggered that SOC reset last night. I started all of this with about 70% SOC with 75 AH Lead-Acids. I had my Tech 2 on and a friend driving up a slight, long hill to watch voltages while under load. I had #5 battery drop to 9.5 volts and the Bat Life l...

I'll add that with the PbA pack, the CC won't work in cold weather because there is a thermal request to heat the pack below (about) 40 degrees. I'm using my CC every day right now in Delaware. I charge with the 220 charger at home, drive my 18 miles in to work then charge wit...

If your S-10 is a NiMH version, the Convenience Charger (CC) won't work. This was the case with NiMH EV-1, and the S-10EV uses the same propulsion system. The active battery cooling using the HVAC pulls more current than the CC can provide while charging in warm environments....
