Thanks so much Jeff for the definitive information. As the expert in these S10-EVs your help is greatly appreciated. So now I guess I will just hope to hear from somebody who has these manuals. Is it possible to buy them through GM? Thanks. Kevin -------------- next part -----...

To anyone interested: The 1997 model is substantially different from the 1998, and would be of little help, as the under-hood and cabin wiring are entirely different between these two model years. To make matters worse, the battery pack information is not detailed in the 1998...

Many thanks to Upgeya Pew and Stephen Johnson for their help with these manuals. I did find the 1998 manuals at Helm. I also tried substituting 97 for 98 to get the 1997 manuals for the S-10EV. That didn't work. So now I'm wondering if there is even a 1997 manual specifically...

A further comment on large-paddle inductive charger (LPI) deployment.... While redeploying LPIs to serve the specific needs (at home and work) of the very few S10E and other vehicle owners who can use them makes some sense, it doesn't make sense to mount a major effort to depl...

Hello; I tried to call Helm. I talked to probably the same lady. She said they had the shop manual that covered the 1997 S-10, the Blazer, the S-15 and maybe a couple of others. I asked several times for the S-10 Electric or the S-10E. She did not understand. I think she thoug...

Hi Sherry, I just got a set of the GM factory service manuals for our 1998 S-10 Electric. The company who made the manuals for GM is HELM. ( www.helminc.com ) I would assume since they still have 1998 service manuals that they would for the '97 models as well. You can also ord...

Francis, What year is this S10 electric? Is it a factory-built truck, or a conversion? From what you say, it seems likely that this is not a factory-built S10E, but some type of conversion. How many batteries do you have altogether, both old and new? It sounds like you may hav...
