Hi Tom, Back in January I contacted as many of these 3rd party scan tool vendors as I could find (about 10 or 12). All except one of them responded saying that no, they couldn't read out the S10 EV. A guy named Jay Horak from www.autoenginuity.com <http://www.autoenginuity.com...

The EV1 Dash program runs on the Palm handheld only, not on laptops. There is some rudimentary software for laptops, using the same OBDII hardware interface. Michael Schwabe might be able to help with that. AFAIK, there is no software or tool other than the GM Tech II Scantool...

Hi Tom, The EV Dash program only works with the Palm. You don't need a fancy one - I just used a Palm III. A couple of the EV Dash functions that worked on the EV1 do not work on the S-10. These were a minor thing, all the important stuff works. I am not aware of any laptop pr...

No, the S10E is not OBDII compliant in the way you'd like it to be, although it does have an OBDII connector. AutoTap and similar products will not work. The Tech II Scan Tool needs special software to work with the S10E, and I think the software may be different between PbA a...
