Wow, Don that is really strange. I did have to replace a faulty circuit breaker once, which may have mitigated the destruction in your case, but have you done a post-mortem to see what failed? Jeremy Smithson EV Support, a div. of Puget Sound Solar LLC immobile (206) 706-1931...

Just throwing out some thoughts on charging... I have a 97 lead-acid truck so I'm not familiar with the NiMH batteries. However, I did have to deal with some charging issues. Since the Panasonic's are not available, I installed 12V/75AH AGM batteries designed for UPS systems....

Looks like it was Jim's truck several years back that had the capacitor issue. Look in the archives for 2006 under the heading of "Capacitors are your friend." A good explaination from Jim amd Jeff about what happens when the caps let go. --- On Thu, 7/28/11, [email removed] w...

I had searched around about 9 months ago since many manufacturers now are making fuel efficient tires. The problem I came across is almost none of them are sized to fit the S-10, Ranger or RAV4. The best rated tire at the time was by Michelin. A couple of notches below the Mic...
