My S10 EV was recently vandalized and the Palm along with the Palm interface adapter cable was stolen. Jeff Thomas doesn't have any more Palm interface adapter cables and he referred me to Peter Ohler who in turn referred me to Michael Schwabe. The email address he gave me for...

??? I'm trying to lighten the S10-EV to improve the overall performance.? The biggest difference structurally between the EV1 and the S10-EV is weight.? The EV1 was about 1400 lbs lighter than the S10-EV.? I don't think it is practical to expect that type of weight reduction w...

Chris, ? ??? I recently did the same upgrade you mentioned and used the Goodyear Viva-2 (a low rolling resistance tire only available from Walmart).? I was able to get a set of ZR-2 alloy rims from an S-10 4x4 on eBay for $250 and they fit perfectly.? Evidently GM used the 4x4...

Hello everyone, My S-10 EV needs new batteries. i am understanding that a battery used in the 2005 - 2007 Chevy Siverado and GMC Sierra hybrid models will do the job in our vehicles. The GM part # is 89021957. My source tells me that there is a gentleman in the Bay area who ha...

I just shredded one of my Tigerpaws LRRs. My spare is badly worn and causing bad pulling. I guess it's time to replace my tires. Any recommendations? While I'm at it, maybe some new lighter rims. Any ideas? I know that standard S10/Blazer rims are not correct for the S10EV. Ch...

Wow, it looks like you're having fun. A tip for you: You have a blown buffer. And you'll need a new FF motor too. The Inverter issue is a bit more complex though. Jeff On Jul 7, 2008, at 9:49 AM, Steve Hawkins wrote: > Greetings all, > > > > I found two interesting things work...

Greetings all, I found two interesting things working on the s10e over the weekend and wanted to know if anyone has some ideas on these issues. The inverter issues is clearly the more important one as I think it is causing the DTC-279 that is stopping the vehicle from running....

Richard, With the A/C pumping the air flow of 42F temps into the pack and 73% airflow going into the pack now as speak, I'm going to have to believe it's not a stuck valve. It's charging and maintaining right now with help from some nice folks here on the list, but as of yet i...

Hello all. I am having too much fun here. My '98 s10e has the ev-95 pack installed now with upgraded cooling and vitalization and a tech2 is coming for me to work with this weekend. The engineers I am working with agree that she should run properly unless there are additional...
