You would need to find two 30A 120V receptacles, one on each side of the line. The S10E requires 208-240V at 30A (which technically calls for a 40A circuit). The standard 120V receptacles that your utility will be installing will be 20A at best, so they are not going to be use...

My local utility is installing Plug-in vehicle charging stations. This is pretty cool, but other than one site that was 'grandfathered', they are not going to have 220/240V available on them. I am trying to figure out if I could find some way to utilize these charging stations...
