They also have a 10% buyers fee so the 10,501.00 bid would have to pay 11,551.10 for a non running 97 that most likely has other issues besides needing new batteries. Jeff will be getting some more phone calls. Don Blazer From: Jeff Thomas <[email removed] (mailto:[email remov...

Don, Richard, everyone else with a 1997 or 1998 S-10EV: The correct refrigerant charge is 32oz (or 2 /1/2 twelve oz cans of R-134) plus 8oz of Ester oil. Don, the 97 we upgraded to NiMH at your home in Portland has a valve problem. It was clearly evident from the frost forming...

Hello Richard I am working on the AC right now as well. You are correct the tag on the AC unit says 2 pounds the 97 manual says 3.5. I also had a low pressure fault but it does not always come back when cleared. The manual gives warnings about using too much refrigerant. I hav...

Richard, the correct quantity is 32oz. Effectively 2 1/2 twelve ounce cans of R-134. Additionally, if the system is dumped, you'll need to add a minimum of 8oz of Ester oil, and no more than 10oz. Yes, the system spec is for 13oz Ester oil. A considerable amount remains in the...
