Just thinking out loud about a possible Lithium conversion. The Tesla battery approach seems to be a good answer, however, there are some issues with the S10E. Mainly the voltages sent to the S10E battery computer. An option here would be to convert your S10E into a back yard...

Ok gang coolant does matter. It must be Dexcool and will say it on the container. AutoZone or Oriellys, yes its typically orange. The conversion to NiMH from lead on the 1997s were not an easy modification. The programming of the BPCM alone was not enough to make it all work....
