Somewhere, in a parallel universe (or maybe Kentucky) people modify their gas S-10 to turn them into drag racers. The ? mile S-10 people and the EV S-10 people share a similar goal in wanting to reduce the weight of the vehicle. There are shops in California and elsewhere wher...

You have to consider the safety factor. Yes, there are a number of suppliers offering lightweight composite or 'glas panels for the S-10 series trucks. And these are marketed primarily to kids with no consideration for safety. Aftermarket front end sheet metal from the likes o...

Wow, it looks like you're having fun. A tip for you: You have a blown buffer. And you'll need a new FF motor too. The Inverter issue is a bit more complex though. Jeff On Jul 7, 2008, at 9:49 AM, Steve Hawkins wrote: > Greetings all, > > > > I found two interesting things work...

My naive guess would be that it is a problem w/ the battery temperature sensors. There seems to have been a recent spree of a lot of them going out recently. I know 3 of the 6+ S10EVs in Seattle have needed their sensors replaced. The only way to do this is to crack the pack o...
