Rick, Where are you located? the Electric Auto Assoc. has several Excess Large Paddle chargers in CA that we'd be willing to sell for a nominal fee in order to help cover our costs in maintaining public charging infrastructure. Regards, Mike Kane [email removed] --- On Thu, 9/...

What is the ampere hour output per battery of the 26 original main batteries? Cold cranking and reserve? Is there a good replacement group of batteries that equals the original output but are different individual physical sizes that fits in the allotted space? I'm looking at a...

Dennis, Yeah, with 4100 pounds of vehicle weight and the tires inflated to 50 psi, the thing seems to coast quite well. I agree. Someone posted something a couple of years ago about the increase in range of the vehicle with the half-tonneau cover installed. As I remember, it w...

[S10-EV] S10E Battery Fires

Jeff, would you be willing to outline the specific evidence you have that supports your hypothesis that these fires were caused by "metal fatigue developing in the tree and branch plate interconnect structure can result in broken internal parallel connections, reducing the cel...

FWIW, I just got off the phone with Jeff and had a very informative conversation with him. He has technically been on vacation in Oregon w/ spotty internet connectivity while following up on all of this. That said, he is serious when he encourages any EVBones cutomers w/ quest...

The Seattle S10 was a native NIMH. It really doesn't matter much because the condition of most of these truck's batteries before Jeff gets to them is probably pretty bad, so he would probably recondition them all the same way, swapping out batteries as appropriate. I don't thi...

I wish to thank Jeff for the time he has expended to ferret out this rather convoluted problem. My only question is were the vehicles that burned equipped with NiMH as they were assembled or are they some of those which were converted by EV Bones. It was my conception that the...
