I really dislike comparing S-10 EV and RAV4 EV and battery performance. I went off about this a long time ago on the RAV4 EV list and recently. Concerning what has been pointed out here. The AC system on the S-10 EV does not affect mileage unless the pack reaches a temperature...

The RAV4 is lighter and has a 50 KW motor. The S10 is much heavier and has an 85 KW motor I think. So it uses more electricity to get around. The RAV4 uses fans to cool the batteries. The S10 used a heatpump which uses much more energy. The batteries on the S10 do not have the...

What's the voltage? Maybe it was the High Voltage relay? If so then you'd need to perform a State Of Charge reset by separating the HV Disconnect connector under the hood and then threading the ground off of your 12V acc battery. As you do this you will hear a ton of clicking;...

My notes from meeting with Jeff to learn about the truck say the 12v battery needs to be replaced because it "gets overcharged". I am not sure what the connection between a dying 12v battery and killing the APCM is but at $5,000 for an APCM and $80 for a 75-60 battery, does it...
