[S10-EV] Fullerton LPI charger?

Upgeya Pew Sun, 03 May 2009 11:23:47 -0700 2009 Thread size 2
It worked the last time I tried it, which was about 4 months ago. I've used the SPI chargers (with an LPI adapter) at the Anaheim Metrolink (near Anaheim convention center), as recently as 2 months ago. There are quite a few of them. -- Upgeya Pew > Subject: > [S10-EV] Fullert...

[S10-EV] EV-1 Oil Level

Jeff Thomas Fri, 1 May 2009 10:48:17 -0700 2009 Thread size 4
If the transaxle is installed and level, remove the threaded plug using a 3/8 socket drive. On the S-10, this plug is at the back, on the EV1 it is at the front. If the "hamster milk" is level to the hole, the amount is correct. Please call if you need the GM P/N for this spec...

Hello all San Francisco Bay Area S-10 owners, I would like to find out how many of you out there would be interested in combining our resources to see if we can convince Jeff Thomas to install the Firebottle fire suppression system to our trucks here in the Bay Area. The idea...

I'll begin this announcement with an update to all NiMH truck owners regarding GM's response to the vehicle fires that have occurred while charging. Although GM had been approached in a friendly manner with with a desperate request for immediate assistance, their response has...

[S10-EV] 125V 30A

List member Thu, 2 Apr 2009 14:02:21 EDT 2009 Thread size 1
Hello Pat Your correct it will not work. You really need 240 at 40 amps. You can use a 30 amp but your pushing the amp limit. Sometimes 30 will work for a while then trip the breaker. The convenience charger some have used as long as the AC does not kick on. I have found they...

[S10-EV] S10-EV Digest, Vol 68, Issue 12

Just goes to show you how badly communities need cite revenue. Also seeing an EV on the street is not the usual sight for anyone, much less when it is charging. You might cut him/her a little slack but I'd fire off a protest to the parking authority anyway. Just be prepared to...

Upgeya Pew Tue, 17 Feb 2009 00:07:39 -0800 2009 Thread size 1
Hi Lloyd Sorry, I don't have the numbers, however, I've had this done on the driver side of my truck. The shop had to try 3 times for the correct axle & CV joint with the parts people, as I recall. Also, as I recall, they said it was the one for the 4WD S10. -- Upgeya Subject:...

[S10-EV] P/N for front drive axels

Lloyd Campbell Mon, 16 Feb 2009 08:56:10 -0600 2009 Thread size 2
Hello all, Lloyd here again. I am looking for the P/N's for both front drive axels. Seems both my CV boots have leaks in them, and one is leaking pretty bad. As long as I am this far into it, I just as well make everything "new" again. Thank you, Lloyd
