If the transaxle is installed and level, remove the threaded plug using a 3/8 socket drive. On the S-10, this plug is at the back, on the EV1 it is at the front. If the "hamster milk" is level to the hole, the amount is correct. Please call if you need the GM P/N for this spec...

First, make sure you have a good aux 12 volt battery. The most common reason for "service now" is a low voltage on a worn out aux battery. I replaced mine with an Optima Yellow Top battery. Some have done this on their RAV4 EVs and cleared up problems as well. Stephen in Oakla...
