I just got my truck going a week ago. I have put on 200 miles. It seems to me the charge in the battery is not lasting long enough. I go 20 miles. When I plug the charger in it said 36 % left. The most I have gone is 21 miles then the warning light came on and the truck slowed...

I'll add that with the PbA pack, the CC won't work in cold weather because there is a thermal request to heat the pack below (about) 40 degrees. I'm using my CC every day right now in Delaware. I charge with the 220 charger at home, drive my 18 miles in to work then charge wit...

If your S-10 is a NiMH version, the Convenience Charger (CC) won't work. This was the case with NiMH EV-1, and the S-10EV uses the same propulsion system. The active battery cooling using the HVAC pulls more current than the CC can provide while charging in warm environments....

Stephen, I have seen DTC #274 caused by varying battery voltages (i.e. an imbalanced pack). Also, I believe that cycling the ignition is just an alternate way of clearing certain DTCs without a scan tool. If you have the Tech2, there's no need (or advantage) to cycle the ignit...
