Rayan Ghazal Fri, 15 Jan 2010 08:24:39 -0800 2010 Thread size 1
Hello Niel, The cost may be higher but another option would be using floor heating elements. One of the most efficient is step warm floor. http://www.warmfloor.com/ They use thermostatic plastic which ensures that even without a thermostat the elements will not overheat. Rayan...

The pack temp sensors just arrived today. Let me know how many you want. Keep in mind I doubt their will be another group buy on this item. The cost to run a minimum order of 50 sensors is 345 dollars. The cost to get a set now is 25.40 and I recommend at least two. If you dro...

Phil, When I went to my local Chevy dealership today, they got my 1997 truck's vin number and brought a replacement fan motor out that they said matched what was called for. They wanted $500 full retail for it. It looked a little different than what my fan motor looks like. It...

Michael: I have a bit to toss. In 2008, I got a "last known good" GM part number, from Jeff, I believe, and local Chevy dealer subbed it out to a multi-use part (Cadillac heater blower) among others. He went out and brought it back off the shelf. They had it in stock! I can ch...

[S10-EV] Replacing the fuel fired heater from underneath the truck.

Lynn, Thank you very much! Knowing that you don't own your S10E anymore, and that you're still here to help, says a lot about you. I am fortunate to have a large, well lighted, heated, 2 car garage, and an Air / Hydraulic bumper lift that will raise my truck 24" off the floor....

[S10-EV] Replacing the fuel fired heater from underneath the truck.

I have in perfect condition a 1997 S10e converted to NiMH by Jeff Thomas and Bryan Sailor. That is everything is perfect except that it has no batteries. At the end of this week it will go onto EBay. Barring a decent offer on EBay I will start parting out the truck, with the d...

One of my cells went bad shortly before the holidays and I did not have the time to service the vehicle to replace the cell. I knowingly let the vehicle drift in to a coma over the holidays. This weekend I checked out the state of the truck, mostly to use my custom diagnostics...
