This may not be possible and I may be crazy, but has anyone checked on the specs for the APCM for the Chevy Volt to see if it is compatible in power output and capabilities as the EV1/S10-EV APCM? I am not suggesting that it will plug right it and work, but maybe we can develo...

So that's it then. Anyone want to buy a dead truck whole for parts? Or buy some of the parts? The battery pack is in great condition, in balance and so on. It has been a daily driver but only in town and typically only for 5-10 miles. Very occasionally it has done 20 miles. I...

[S10-EV] ABS failure

Chris Reeves Mon, 9 May 2011 03:57:43 -0700 (PDT) 2011 Thread size 1
My ABS has failed. It was a few months ago, but I'm just posting now hoping that there might be a replacement module out there somewhere. I didn't keep any of the error codes from back then, but here's how it presented it's self. I think, from the beginning of driving the S10E...

Yeah, sounds like something either did or is about to go. Good Luck! FEI: I just sold my truck to the Johnsens as parts. It was acting similarly...just before it released its spirit. Pv On May 4, 2011 10:11 PM, <[email removed]> wrote: > Hello John > > Sorry to say but it soun...

Hello John Sorry to say but it sounds like your APCM has failed. The good news is they are still available. The bad news is they are about 5300 list and cost is about 3800 going from memory. It is just about the most expensive part in the truck to replace. Also if I remember c...

Hi All, I remember there being one or two pack fires some years back, and a friend has asked me the details and I do not recall. Were there one or two fires? Were they '97 converted to NiMH? Where either PbAs? Where were these fires? He recalls one at DFW, but was the one of o...

[S10-EV] Charge Port Needed

Greg Brewsaugh Wed, 13 Apr 2011 16:25:06 -0700 2011 Thread size 3
Had you considered a Manzanita Micro charger instead? They make several versions in the PFC family. It would obviously require mods to the truck, but several RAV4EV drivers *carefully* use them in the regen circuitry to fool the BMS. Could at least be a fallback position to ke...

Maybe someone else can verify this, but can you leave it on the convenience charger or connected to the paddle charger? I thought these systems were designed not to over charge. Am I right? :Isaac: On Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 11:59 AM, <[email removed]> wrote: > Greetings All, > >...
