So I'm getting more and more nervous about the life of the original capacitors in my now "perfect" truck. If I purchase the replacements, is someone going to help me, (with information on the procedure), to replace them? I'm confident of my electrical/mechanical skills but I j...

Good and interesting question, Don. I converted my '98 to Panasonic EV-95 NiMHs out of a Rav4-ev about 3 or 4 years ago. I added two over temp cut-offs, six additional temp sensors and one pressure sensor to the pack at that time. Had to leave it on the OEM 1260U PbA programin...

I retired a month ago and drive mine every day. Usually less than 15 miles per charge to be nice to the Deka 75 AH lead acid batteries. I know it will go a lot further but I don't even get close to half on the SOC. A lot of work to make them fit but all 26 are in the box. Almo...

Curious how many are using their S-10 on a regular basis? Also if you are what kind of batteries are you using? As long as were at it what year is your S-10 and please reply even if your not driving it. It would be interesting to see how many owners of S-10s are on this list....
